Kappa Delta Rho and Delta Zeta Take First Place on Mom's Day

Kappa Delta Rho and Delta Zeta took home first place in the annual Atius-Sachem Mom's Day sing this weekend. A time-traveling skit that featured parodied versions of the songs "Maniac", "I Want It That Way", and "My Life Would Suck Without You" beat out several other competitive acts in the song and dance competition. Thanks to the women of Delta Zeta and the brothers of Kappa Delta Rho for their hard work and for putting on a great show! Special thanks goes to brothers Josh Bates and Brian Jarzen for their work as directors in the performance. We look forward to putting together another great routine next year!

Letter from the President to Prospective Members

Unfortunately, the reputation of the Greek systems throughout the country can be tarnished by the acts of a few. The Eta chapter of Kappa Delta Rho practices a zero-tolerance rule for hazing, drug-abuse, and other illegal and unethical behaviors. We pride ourselves in creating brotherhood through equal responsibility and reward. From the moment a rushee enters our doors to well beyond graduation day, all members are treated fairly: we are our brothers' keeper.

The Kappa Delta Rho brother has but one aim: to lead an honorable life. Our chapter stands by the Kappa Delta Rho precepts:

* Embrace the principles and spirit of the Kappa Delta Rho Gentleman, treating all those I encounter with dignity and respect
* Work diligently in the pursuit of my education, understanding that I am a student first and that the quest for knowledge is an endeavor which will last a lifetime
* Meet all of my obligations to the Fraternity in a timely manner, so as to ensure that I am doing my share and that I am not a burden to my brothers
* Engage in the service of mankind, not for the praise or recognition that such service may bring, but because it is the right thing to do
* Serve as my brothers’ keeper, holding them accountable for their actions as they hold me accountable for mine
* Support my Alma mater, that she may view Kappa Delta Rho as a partner in the development of her students.

Sincerly,
Joseph GH Wehr
Consul, Kappa Delta Rho Eta Chapter 2009
